SEO for Designers

In this article, I will cover the four different types of SEO for graphic designers. Understanding these different strategies can make an impact on your audience and business goals. In addition, there are lots of ways to monetize when it comes to SEO. If you’re not familiar with what that is, go back and watch my last video, but this one is going to be important because I want you to know about the four different types of SEO. So, without any further ado, let’s get right into it.

Video SEO

The 4 Different Types Of SEO For Graphic DesignersSEO is an essential aspect of marketing, which can be challenging due to the volume of content produced. SEO requires a specific strategy based on different media types, especially when one is determined to rank exclusively for a keyword. I have developed a sound strategy by focusing on keywords in video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and tags. It’s similar to how Google works with search results: if you enter one word relevant to your domain and your videos appear, the chance people will click them increases exponentially because it also means they’re interested in that word or topic, as clicks are often determined by relevance.

Image SEO

The next one, number two, is image is critical because on google images, there are many images, and people are looking for them online. When I go do a search, half the time, I go to hit google images first to see what comes up that visually matches. So image search is a highly sought out SEO strategy. Many people are looking for pictures, and one of the things you can do is Google Images, your long-tail keyword something like an infographic or even just some small-large text post with your picture, you have more chances to rank higher up in Google Images.

Local SEO (Google My Business)

The 4 Different Types Of SEO For Graphic DesignersThe third type of SEO is Google My Business. For local businesses and national companies, being accessible on this platform has become increasingly important. In the past few years, I’ve set up dozens of different service locations for clients in various industries with my optimization efforts to boost their rankings for searches. Over 35% of traffic on Google Maps comes from search engines – among them Yelp and Bing Places – so it also benefits those looking to reach a wider audience seeking services within their industry or surrounding areas.

Organic SEO

Organic SEO is the fourth type of search engine optimization for graphic designers. Organic listings are shown after ads and typically have about eight to ten aspects per page. There used to be more, but Google has reduced their amount to make it fair for small businesses. However, big companies such as Yelp and Design Crowd- these types of sites have a considerable advantage with organic SEO that smaller businesses will never be able to catch up with because they’ve established so much more exposure and will continue growing like that. To overcome this obstacle, you will have to be more specific with physical locations to help get higher up if you are a small business.
